How selling on Studio Forward works

The full journey of a creator: store, products, payments, review window and payouts.

Studio Forward lets creators sell digital resources to game developers. You keep the intellectual property of your work; buyers receive a license to use it.

The journey

• Apply for a store. Describe your studio and main game. Our team reviews applications, usually within 48 hours.

• Connect your Stripe account. Payments are made directly to your own Stripe account. Stripe verifies your identity and bank details; Studio Forward never sees your IBAN.

• Publish products. Add images or videos, a description, features, a price, an optional Pro license and the file or link to deliver. Every new product is reviewed before it goes live.

• Sell. When a buyer checks out, their card is authorized on your Stripe account and they get the file immediately.

• Review window. Payments are captured automatically after 5 days, unless the buyer opened a refund or fraud request, or a dispute exists.

• Get paid. At capture, the amount lands in your Stripe balance, minus the Studio Forward commission (10%) and Stripe's processing fees. Stripe then pays out to your bank on your payout schedule.

Your dashboard

The seller dashboard shows your products, sales, statistics, customers, coupons, reviews and finances. The Finances tab separates every amount: paid by customers, commission, Stripe fees, owed to you, received on Stripe and paid out to your bank.
