Refund Policy: disputes and cancellations

Digital goods are generally final. When you can file a dispute, how to do it and what happens next.

Digital goods are generally non-refundable

Because of the digital nature of the products sold on Studio Forward, all sales are generally final. Once a digital asset has been delivered (made available for download), it is considered received by the buyer.

When you can request a refund

You may file a dispute within 5 days of purchase if:

• the product is materially different from its description or screenshots;

• the product does not function as advertised in Roblox Studio (or the engine or game listed on the product page);

• the product contains malicious code, viruses or backdoors;

• you were charged incorrectly (duplicate charge, wrong amount);

• the download link is broken and the seller does not fix it within 72 hours.

How to file a dispute

• Go to Account → Orders.

• Find the order in question and click File dispute (the button is shown for 5 days after the purchase).

• Describe the problem in detail and attach screenshots if applicable (up to 5 files).

• Our team reviews the dispute as soon as possible, typically within a few business days.

You can also open a ticket in Refunds & Cancellations from the Support tab and select the order.

> While your card is still only authorized (the first 5 days), filing a dispute pauses the automatic capture of that order: you are not charged while our team reviews it.

Dispute resolution

When a dispute is filed, Studio Forward reviews the claim and may contact both the buyer and the seller. Possible outcomes:

• Full refund: the product is clearly misrepresented or non-functional. If the payment was still authorized, the authorization is cancelled and you are never charged.

• No refund: the product matches its description and works correctly.

• Product fix: the seller fixes the issue and delivers an updated version.

Non-refundable situations

• You changed your mind after purchasing.

• You found a similar free asset elsewhere.

• The asset does not fit your specific use case, while matching its description.

• You lack the technical skills to implement the asset.

• More than 5 days have passed since the purchase.

These rules do not limit any mandatory rights you have under the consumer law of your country.

Timing and access

Accepted refunds go back to the original payment method; banks usually display them within 5 to 10 business days. A full refund ends your license and removes access to the resource; a partial refund keeps it.

Disputes with your bank

Please contact us before opening a chargeback with your bank: we usually resolve requests much faster, and a chargeback freezes the payment for weeks.
