How to install FiveM scripts, MLOs and vehicles (ESX, QBCore)
Add a resource to your FiveM server, declare it in server.cfg, import its SQL and configure the framework.
FiveM resources are folders that the server loads at startup: scripts, MLO interiors, YMAP maps, vehicles, EUP clothing and loading screens all install the same way.
Check the requirements
• The Details tab lists the framework (ESX, QBCore, QBox or standalone) and dependencies such as ox_lib, oxmysql, ox_target or qb-target. Install and start dependencies first.
• Some scripts are escrowed (encrypted by Cfx.re asset escrow): they only run on a server whose license key is linked to the Cfx.re account that owns them. Follow the seller's instructions to transfer them to your Keymaster account if needed.
Install a resource
1. Extract the download and copy the resource folder into your server's resources directory (you can use a category folder such as resources/[scripts]).
2. Do not rename the folder unless the guide says so: some scripts check their resource name.
3. Add a line to server.cfg: ensure resource-name (after its dependencies).
4. If an .sql file is included, import it into your database (HeidiSQL, phpMyAdmin) before starting the server.
5. Edit config.lua (framework, prices, locations, language), then restart the server.
MLO interiors and maps
• Install them like any resource and ensure them in server.cfg.
• Check that no other MLO or YMAP uses the same location: overlapping interiors cause flickering or missing walls.
Vehicles and clothing
• Add-on vehicles: ensure the resource, then add the vehicle to your dealership or garage script using the spawn name from the README.
• EUP and clothing packs usually need a game build set with sv_enforceGameBuild in server.cfg, as stated in the guide.
Troubleshooting
• Read the server console at startup and the F8 console in game: errors name the resource and the file.
• "No such export": a dependency is missing or starts after the script. "SCRIPT ERROR … nil value": usually a framework mismatch in config.lua.
• Send the error text to the seller from Account → Orders → Contact seller.
