How buying works (and when you are charged)

Your card is authorized at checkout, you get your files immediately, and the payment is captured after the 5-day review window.

Studio Forward protects buyers with a short review window on every purchase.

Step by step

• Checkout. You pay on a secure Stripe page. Prices are recalculated by our server; the amount you see on the Stripe page is the amount that can be charged.

• Authorization. Your card is authorized, not charged: the amount is reserved by your bank. Your order shows "Payment authorized" and your files are available immediately in My products.

• Review window (5 days). If something is wrong with the resource, open a ticket in Refunds & Cancellations during this window. Automatic capture is paused for your order while our team reviews the request.

• Capture. If no refund request, dispute or fraud alert is open when the window ends, the payment is captured automatically and the order becomes "Paid". The creator receives their share and Studio Forward its commission.

• Cancellation. If a refund request is accepted before capture, the authorization is cancelled: you are never charged. Your bank releases the reserved amount, usually within a few days depending on your bank.

> Authorizations are valid for about 7 days. If a payment can no longer be captured, it is cancelled and you are not charged.

One store per payment

Each payment goes to a single creator. If your cart contains resources from several stores, you pay each store separately from the checkout window.

Currency

Prices can be displayed in several currencies for convenience, but payments are made in euros (EUR). Your bank may apply its own conversion rate.
