Fees and commission

What Studio Forward and Stripe deduct from each sale.

Studio Forward commission

Studio Forward takes a commission of 10% on each sale (calculated on the amount paid by the buyer after discounts). It is collected automatically by Stripe as an application fee when the payment is captured.

Stripe fees

Stripe's payment processing fees are charged by Stripe to your Stripe account, according to Stripe's pricing for your country. The exact fee of every sale is shown in Finances.

Example

For a €30.00 sale with a 10% commission: Studio Forward receives 10% of €30.00, Stripe deducts its processing fee, and the rest is yours.

Refunds

When a sale is refunded, the commission is refunded proportionally. Stripe's processing fees are generally not returned by Stripe.

Changes

The commission rate in force on the day of each sale is recorded on the order and never changes afterwards. We announce changes to the rate in advance.
